Jormungandr
Be careful not to stir the waters.
The piece shows Jörmungandr a mythical creature in Viking folklore. The creature is described in many exciting stories and depicted many times throughout the year. A fascinating creature I wanted to try painting.
Finished piece, pushed some colors and forms more and added som effects and splashing.
Started to seek the colors and modeling the characters and expressions / interaction between them.
Here I choose one of my sketches to move forward with and started painting in the foreground and the character dynamics I was looking for in this piece.
Here I am looking for right type of interaction between the serpent and character
